Srinagar : On the eve of World Tourism Day, Students of Police Public School, Bemina Srinagar on Tuesday shined and secured top two positions in an inter-school art competition organized in Srinagar.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters J&K, police said that to spread awareness about the importance of Tourism in Kashmir, an inter-school art competition under the theme “Tourism and Menace of Drugs” was organised by White Globe at Zabarwan Park LalChowk Srinagar. On the occasion, more than five hundred students from the leading schools of the Kashmir valley participated and expressed their views/opinions over the theme.
On the occasion, SajjadKhaliq-JKPS (SO to DIG CKR Srinagar) was also present. Students Ahmad Ali of Class 10th and Fatima of Class 6th of J&K Police Public School Bemina Srinagar secured 1st and 2nd position respectively.
In a concluding para of the above referred statement, on this occasion, the DIG CKR Sujit Kumar-IPS congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and appreciated them for securing top positions thereby bringing laurels to the school and police department.
