Srinagar : A scooty-rider was killed after allegedly being hit by a JCB along the Srinagar-Gulmarg highway on Monday evening.
An eyewitness to the incident reported that “a scooty-rider was hit by a JCB in Chechloora of Kunzer area, leaving him fatally injured.” The injured person was evacuated to a hospital, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Javid Ahmad Gojree S/o Showkat Ahmad Gojree, R/o Aboora Kunzer.
A police official said that a case has been registered into the incident to ascertain nature of the accident.
