Srinagar: Security forces killed two suspected infiltrators near the Line of Control (LOC) in Machil sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday, police said.
They said Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police neutralized two militants near the LoC at Tekri Nar in Machil sector.
The identification and affiliation of the slain militants is being ascertained, Police added.
2 AK-27 rifles, 2 pistols and 4 hand grenades were also recovered from the possession of the slain militants.
Further details shall follow, the police added.
