Police organises workshop on Investigation of Spl Offences in B’pora

Srinagar : Police in Bandipora in collaboration with Prosecution department on Thursday organised a one-day workshop on investigation of special offences at conference Hall DPL Bandipora.

According to a statement issued from J&K Zonal Police Headquarters the SSP Bandipora Mohmad Zahid was invited as chief guest and he inaugurated the workshop which was attended by ASP Bandipora, Dy SP Hqrs Bandipora, DySP DAR Bandipora, Dy SP PC Bandipora, all SHOs/IC PPs of sub division Bandipora. The workshop was also attended by CPO Bandipora Abdul MajeedBhat, Sr. Po DPO BandiporaJunaid Ahmad, APP CJM Court Bandipora and APP JMIC Court Bandipora. The agenda of the workshop was prepared by EmranBhat&Gulzar Ahmad of Prosecution section of DPO Bandipora.

 

In a concluding para of the above referred statement police said the main motive of the workshop was based on the investigation process of various special offences like ULAP act, NDPS act and general investigation under CrPC. SSP Bandipora in his address emphasised on timely investigation of ULAP Act, NDPS Act and Crime against Women and Cr PC Case FIRs and their disposal. Besides, the chairing officer also highlighted the role of Police and Prosecution Department in investigation process of Case FIRs of criminal matters. The workshop was also addressed by officers of Prosecution department.
