Deptt of Islamic Studies, BGSBU conducts “Induction Prog”

Rajouri : The ‘Department of Islamic Studies’, BGSBU, Rajouri, organized a day-long “Induction Program” on 22 September, 2022. The program was held to welcome the new entrants, to familiarize them regarding the campus in general and the Department in particular on one hand and to have an introduction with one another on the other hand. The program comprised numerous components including the deliverances of the faculty members on the theme. The historical establishment of the university and the emergence of the Department including the contemporary scenario of the department have been highlighted in order to create awareness and interest among the students (especially new entrants) regarding the department. The program was attended by students of both semesters (1^st & 3^rd) including the research scholars of the department. Besides the faculty of the Department, the faculty members of the Department of Urdu (next door neighbor) also joined the program as guests. The program was concluded by the central library visit.
