Baramulla : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish, Joint Director planning M.Yosuf Rather on Monday chaired a meeting of concerned functionaries where he took a detailed review of the Health Scenario in the district.
The meeting also took a comprehensive review of the implementation of different sponsored schemes which includes Ayushman Bharat, RBSK, RKSK among others.
On the occasion, Chief Medical Officer Baramulla presented a detailed PPT regarding block wise achievements of all National Schemes. He gave the current status cum progress of various sponsored programmes undertaken by the health department at different levels.
After taking a thorough review, the JDP emphasized for ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of all sponsored schemes with special focus on health insurance – Ayushman Bharat scheme. He directed to ensure that the people are provided with effective and efficient health and Medicare facilities for which he exhorted to productively Mobilize all the available resources.
Joint Director Planning added that the health sector constitutes an important component in Aspirational Districts program and directed to achieve saturation in all the identified parameters. He also assured every possible support on the part of district administration.
The participants included District Programme Officer ICDS Baramulla, Assistant Director FCS&CA Baramulla, all Block Medical Officers, DPM NHM, DAC Baramulla and BPMU Baramulla, representatives of Piramil Foundation under Aspirational District.
