DDC Doda reviews performance of Engineering Deptts

DM Seeks timely completion of works to achieve desired progress

Doda : District Development Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan on Monday chaired a meeting of Executive heads of Engineering Wings and took stock of the progress of works being executed  in the district  under different schemes.

Underlining the importance of the developmental projects for socio-economic growth including roads, buildings and other public infrastructure, the DDC said that their timely completion and quality work is the top priority of the district administration. Besides, he asked the stakeholder departments to settle the disputes impeding the execution by consulting PRIs, revenue department, and administrative heads.

The DDC also directed the concerned departments to submit the list of works scheme wise including details of tendering, allotment, and achievement till date. Further, the Jal Shakti Department was directed to ensure maximum response to all the tenders by motivating the contractors for early and timely completion of all the schemes.  He also directed the concerned to ensure real time monitoring of all the works ongoing in their respective jurisdictions on priority.

The meeting was attended by SE Hydraulics, SE PWD, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti, PWD, PDD, I&FC, PMGSY, besides other concerned officials .
