Srinagar: in Hathlanga area of Uri. In a statement issued from J&K Zonal Police Headquarters, police said that on a specific input about the presence of arms & ammunition in Hathlanga area of Uri, a joint party of Police and Army (3rd Rajput) launched a search operation in the wee hours near Hathlanga area of Uri, Stating therein further that during searches, arms & ammunition including one AK-47 Rifle, one1 AK Magazine, 28 rounds of AK 47 were recovered from the said area.
Police in it’s statement also said that it has registered a case under relevant sections of law in Police Station Uri and it has initiated further course of investigation to ascertain the facts on ground.
