Jammu : Office of the Chief Electoral Officer J&K at Nirvachan Bhawan Jammu, organised a training programme for Migrant BLOs to ensure 100% registration of Kashmiri Pandits here on Friday.
The training programme was organised in view of the ongoing Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls and better handling of various IT applications by the officers.
The training regarding Special Summary Revision was imparted to the participants by Jt Chief Electoral Officer, Anil Salgotra. He deliberated on all the stages and aspects of summary revision, which started, September 15 and will continue till October 25 this year.
While concluding, Anil Salgotra advised the BLOs to undertake door to door visits and called it indispensable for summary revision and voter registration.
State Nodal Officer, AkhtarHussainQazi, also sensitised the trainees about various ongoing SVEEP activities.
IT expert VidhurPartap Singh also briefed the trainees about the IT applications of ECI like EROnet, Garuda, NVSP/voters portal , voter helpline app etc.
