Samba : District Election Officer ( Deputy Commissioner ) Samba, Anuradha Gupta on Saturday conducted a meeting with the representatives of Political Parties regarding ongoing Special Summary Revision 2022..
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls exercise. The DEO urged the Political representatives to extend their cooperation in updating the electoral rolls.
The representatives of the political parties were also asked to appoint BLAs (Booth Level Agents) at all the polling stations to assist the BLOs (Booth Level Officers) in conducting the registration of new voters, removal of duplicates and non existing voters. The DEO also asked them to submit the appointed list of BLAs of all three assembly constituencies in the District Election Office.
“Special Camps will be organized at all the polling stations on 24th and 25th September, 1st, 2nd, 15th and 16th October. The BLOs will be available at their respective polling stations along with requisite forms on the above dates” She informed.
Responding to issues raised by the participating representatives, the chair issued directions to the concerned officers to take measures for the redressal of the complaints related to election matters and Special Summary Revision 2022 and updation of Electoral Rolls.
During the meeting, District Informatics Officer, SanjeevKapoor also briefed the Political Parties regarding Special Summary Revision 2022 in detail and addressed their issues and queries.
Deputy District Election Officer, DivakarKhajuria was also present on the occasion.
