Budgam :  The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam,  S F Hamid, who is also District Election Officer (DEO) on Friday visited various polling stations of the District to ensure that draft publication of electoral rolls is made in all the 614 polling stations of the District Budgam.

Besides, District Election Officer, Dy. District Election Officer, Assistant Electoral Officer and other officials of district election cell were part of the visiting team.

During the visit, the DEO instructed the Booth Level Officers (BLOs’) that they must encourage the young eligible voters to submit the Form 6 (Form for inclusion of name in the voter list) online or offline for their registration in the electoral rolls.

He further informed them that young eligible citizens be educated to use Mobile based App “Voter Helpline” or access, www.nvsp.in for submitting their claims in Form 6 for their fresh registration.

DEO urged that all BLOs’ must conduct door-to-door survey in their respective areas in order to identify the newly eligible electors for registration.

The DEO further advised the BLOs’ to work dedicatedly and diligently so that the Special Summary Revision-2022 is accomplished with 100 percent enrolment of fresh voters with the motive of “no voter is left behind”.
