Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundalon Saturday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress made under JalJeevan Mission and ODOP scheme.
While reviewing the progress made under JalJeevan Mission, the meeting was apprised that the Administrative Approval of 280 schemes, out of 293 schemes has been received. It was further informed that the tenders for 85 schemes have been allotted.
Saying that JalJeevan Mission envisages providing safe drinking water through individual household tap connections in a time bound manner, he directed the concerned officers to work in tandem for the successful implementation of the program in the district.
Meanwhile, the DDC also reviewed the progress under the One District One Product scheme. It was informed that as many as 15 dairy units have been sanctioned under ODOP out of which 06 have been disbursed. It was also apprised that 04 milk processing units are also functional in the district.
