Ganderbal : In the backdrop of a one-time amnesty scheme launched by the Government for domestic power consumers, PDD Ganderbal held camps at various locations in the District here on Saturday.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal Saturday visited an amnesty scheme camp held at ShuhamaGanderbal during which AEE, PDD Sub-Division Ganderbal briefed him about the progress, and he also took feedback from the people.
On the occasion, the DC while interacting with the consumers urged them to take maximum benefit of amnesty scheme of PDD under which the consumers shall have to pay only the principal amount and all surcharges shall be waived-off after successful payment of basic principal amount which they can pay in a maximum of 12 installments.
The DC impressed upon the AEE, PDD to raise awareness about the scheme so that all domestic consumers eligible for amnesty are able to take advantage of this scheme.
