DC B’pora reviews progress of CAPEX plan projects

“Take all possible measures for time bound completion of works”

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Friday convened a meeting to review the progress achieved under different components of the District Capex Plan, J&K Component, and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on progress under DDC, BDC, PRIs’, Area Development Funds, Aspirational Block Development Plan 2022-23 and other developmental fronts.

The meeting was informed that the District has made expenditure of 1617.46 lakh under regular, ADF, NABARD and CSS components.

It was given out that 377 works have been completed under regular, ADF, NABARD and CSS components till date.

The DC was apprised that under SamridhiSeemaYojna, 7 works have been tendered  out of 12 approved works.

The DC reviewed the project-wise progress and directed the executing agencies and concerned Departments to speed up the pace of work to achieve the set physical and financial targets under the Area Development Fund and other schemes.  He also directed to accelerate the pace of construction works keeping in view the approaching winter season.

DrOwais stressed upon officers to resolve all grievances with priority and complete all works within a set timeline besides maintaining transparency and accountability of officers and officials.

He also stressed on all concerned to take all possible measures for time bound completion of works.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora Afsar Ali Khan, DPO ICDS Mohd Ashraf Hakak, ADC Bandipora Waseem Raja, ACR Bandipora Parvaiz Rahim, ACD Bandipora Ab Rashid Das, ACP Bandipora Syed Altaf Hussain Mosavi, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, Tehsildars, BDOs and District Officers of various departments.
