Kupwara : In pursuance to the directions of Chief Electoral Officer J&K and District Election Officer (DEO) Kupwara, training programme regarding Special Summary Revision (SSR) of Electoral Rolls 2022 of all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Supervisors was on Thursday held at Environmental Hall Handwara.
The programme was presided over by ADC Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir who is ERO of 5-Handwara constituency.
On the occasion, training was imparted to 117 BLOs of AC 5-Handwara during which components of special summary revision schedule for new form 6, 6B, 7, 8, GARUDA App, Aadhaar linkage with Electoral Rolls, 100 percent photo coverage in Electoral Rolls, marking of PWDs, uploading of AMF/EMF were discussed.
Moreover, the main agenda in the whole training imparted by District Election Trainer, Syed SaqibGeelani was achieving the set target by every BLO in his/her part (polling station) within a time frame of 40 days.
Meanwhile, the ADC stressed upon the field staff to ensure cent per cent enrolment of electors and purification of Electoral Roll.
Tehsildar, District Level Master Trainer and other concerned were also present in the training.
Similarly, training programme regarding Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls 2022 of all 138 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of 6-Langate constituency was held at Town Hall Handwara which was presided over by ACP Kupwara who is also ERO 6-Langate.
