The BLOS were further advised that must encourage the young eligible voters to submit Form 6 (Form for inclusion) online or Offline for their registration in the electoral rolls. He further informed them that young eligible citizens be educated to use Mobile based App “VoterHelpline” or access, www.nvsp.in  for submitting their claims (in Form 6) for their fresh registration.

District Election Officer, Srinagar urged that all BLOs must conduct House to House survey in their respective areas in order to identify the newly eligible electors for registration. Further, directed BLOs to collect the Adhaar details of already registered electors who volunteer to share the same on Form 6B for linking it with the electoral records in order to increase the fidelity and transparency in the electoral process.

Moreover, the BLOS were also informed that for ensuring correction of particulars of already registered electors or for shifting from one place to another place they must collect Form 8 from electorates. Similarly, for deletion of name from the electoral rolls in case of shifted or dead electors Form 7 be considered online as well as offline.
