DC B’gam inspects progress of ongoing works in Beerwah, Magam areas

DM also holds Nagar Diwas at Town Hall Beerwah; urges people to take maximum benefits under one time amnesty scheme of PDD

Budgam :  The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid on Thursday inspected progress of various under-execution works in Beerwah and Magam areas of the district.

During his extensive tour, the DC took on spot assessment of newly constructed road project at PurniSuder Shah Mazhama, under construction receiving station and NTPHC building at Mazhama.

While assessing the work progress, the DC directed concerned to enhance manpower and ensure speedy work execution on all projects.

The DC also met various public deputations, who apprised the DC about their needs and demands.

DDC Member Narbal, SDM Beerwah, Tehsildar and other concerned officers accompanied the DC.

The DC also visited various ongoing projects including Bus Stand Beerwah to take on spot assessment of work progress.

He directed concerned to ensure all works are completed in given time lines for the public benefit.

The DC also held a Nagar  Diwas at Town Hall Beerwah, where local traders, religious leaders, respected elders, PRIs from different villages and others raised their demands with the chair.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the district administration Budgam is committed to ensure holistic development of all areas  of the district.

He said that he would personally monitor the development activities to ensure better road  connectivity, water and electricity supply, robust healthcare and quality education in provided to the people in all areas of the district.

On the occasion, the DC also briefed the public about the new one time amnesty scheme of PDD department and urged participants to raise awareness about it so that maximum number of people get benefited out of this amnesty.

President Municipal Council Beerwah, Khurshid Ahmad Banday, SDM others were also present on the occasion.
