Jammu: J&K BJP Spokesperson Brigadier (Retired) Anil Gupta on Thursday appeals people to celebrate the holiday on Mahraja Hai Singh’s Birth day in a befitting manner.
In a statement issued on Thursday Birgadier (Retd) Gupta in his message on declaration of Hari Singh’s birthday as Public Holiday said “At last the truth prevails. JK will be celebrating the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh ji on 23rd September with the government conceding to the popular demand of a holiday on that day. Without getting into a rat race for credit taking, let us all celebrate the occasion in a befitting manner every year by undertaking social upliftment projects as per the vision of the Maharaja”.
