Baramulla : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Sarafon Thursday chaired a meeting at Dak Bungalow here to review the status cum progress of grievances/ complaints received on JK-IGRAMS portal.
On the occasion, ADDC said that all the officers of the District Administration must ensure that the public grievances are redressed in the shortest possible time. He asked the officers to focus on the number of grievances disposed monthly and have a disposal studies at the levels of Tehsil and Block.
The ADDC further enjoined upon the officers that redressal of each and every complaint/ grievance should be completed on the basis of ground report with involvement of local representatives, so that the complainant gets proper information as well as resolution for same. He impressed upon the officers to address the complaints/grievances under proper rules, regulations and guidelines of the government.
During the meeting, statistical data was also provided about the JKIGRAMS and it was given out that a total of 7995 grievances have been registered out of which 7723 grievances have been disposed-off which amounts to a disposal rate of 96.93 percent.
Among others, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer,.DFO JV Division Baramulla, Tehsildar HQ, TehsildarBoniyar, TehsildarKreeri, ARTO, District Social Welfare Officer, DSP HQ Baramulla, DSP HQ Sopore and other Officers were present in the meeting.
