Bandipora : The Department of Youth Services and Sports Bandipora organised a three days orientation cum refresher course for more than 60 Field staff officials of District Youth Services and Sports (DYS&S) office Bandipora at S.K Stadium, here.
Senior PEM NasirHussain Khan informed that the orientation cum refresher course was organised in the disciplines of Rugby, Athletic and Hand Ball.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Joint Director Planning Bandipora, Imtiyaz Ahmad who was chief guest on the occasion and Faisal Ali Dar (Padmashree Awardee) who was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Jt. Director Planning appreciated the Youth Service and Sports Department for organising various sports activities and providing a platform for youth to showcase their talent.
He said refresher courses for the field staff will help them to increase their efficiency and enable them to learn new games and promote excellence.
The trainees were felicitated with sports Track suits on the final day.
