Ramban : District Administration Ramban on Wednesday organised a day-long training cum demonstration programme for the officers and officials on e-office to facilitate smooth implementation of e-office system in all the government offices.
Deputy Commissioner, Mussarat Islam presided over the training programme, which was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, KasturiLal; ACR, Giasul-Haq and several other District and Sectoral officers and officials of different departments.
The Master Trainer, DIO NIC, Prashant Kumar, along with Networking Engineers, Shubam Gupta, and Mohit Kumar imparted training to the officers and officials through a PowerPoint presentation.
The e-office system is an integrated file and records management system that allows employees to manage content, search for data internally and collaborate. The file system also enables the electronic movement and the tracking of files, and the archival and retrieval of data.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the e-office has been introduced in the district to enhance transparency and accountability besides ensuring data security & data integrity. He said that the e-office will make the work of the office easier and faster.
Highlighting that the e-office ensures an efficient working system in Government offices, the DC said that it will be the only mode of transaction of official business, and file work in the offices. He asked the officers to adopt best practices aimed at improving the efficiency in the e-office system and disposal of official business.
