Jammu| Sept 15: Several persons are feared dead and a number of others injured as a bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into deep gorge in Rajouri district on Thursday.
The bus (JK02CD-9156) was on its way to Jammu from Surankote Poonch and met with the accident near Deri Ralyot in Charkote Manjakote area of the mountainous district this afternoon. Soon a massive rescue operation was launched by locals along with police and army.
Local sources reported that at least 5 persons died on the spot. However official confirmation was awaited.
A senior police officer said that some people have died and several others are injured. “The exact details will be shared after sometime,” he added. More details awaited…
