Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundalon Tuesday reviewed the achievements made in Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries sectors under different schemes here at a meeting of the concerned officers.
CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DSHO, Dr SafrazNaseemChowdhury; AD Fisheries, Munesh Sharma; AD Planning, BansiLal and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
The DDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officers regarding the physical and financial progress made under different schemes wherein the concerned officers briefed about the same.
Addressing the officers during the meeting, the DDC asked them to put in place dedicated efforts to ensure that the targets under different schemes are completed within the stipulated time frame.
Stressing on the need for generating awareness among the public about various welfare schemes, he asked them to publicize the schemes being implemented by their departments in the district and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are covered under the schemes.
The DDC asked the concerned officers to take proactive measures to accomplish the targets within set timelines.
Meanwhile, a threadbare discussion was also held with regards to the measures being taken in the district in order to combat the spread of the Lumpy Skin Disease and asked the concerned officers to take effective measures to mitigate the disease in the district.
