Rajouri : A day long training programme on Special Summary Revision activities for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) was held in Sunderbani on Saturday.
The training program was conducted under the overall supervision of the ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal.
During the training program, the master trainer asked the BLOs to work with dedication and enthusiasm to ensure effective registration of new voters besides take maximum benefit of training sessions and get acquainted with requisite knowledge of election processes
The trainees were explained about the processing of prescribed forms under ongoing Special Summary Revision. The role of the BLOs in checking the prerequisites before processing the prescribed forms was explained in detail.
The participants were also told that ECI has initiated various measures to fine-tune the electoral rolls for which ERO-NET is being used for making error-free voters list, besides lessening the paper work as correct forms filled at the entry level will be accepted through the system.
The participants were also explained about various steps involved in the ERO NET including online processing of forms.
