Samba : Three day long training programme on Special Summary Revision for Supervisors and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Vijaypur(71), Samba(70) &Ramgarh(69) Assembly constituencies concluded on Saturday here at conference hall of DC office Samba.
A total of 35 Supervisors and 358 Booth Level Officers attended the training session.
Interacting with trainees, Deputy District Election Officer, DivakarKhajuria explained about the processing of prescribed forms under ongoing Special Summary Revision. He elucidated that Form VI is for registration as Elector/Voter, Form VI-B for Information of Adhaar no. of existing electors, Form-VII for objection and self deletion and Form VIII for correction/ shifting of voters name, which needs to be filled and process on ERO-NET by respective BLOs. He also explained the role of supervisor and BLOs in checking the prerequisites before processing the prescribed forms.
The training programme was conducted under overall supervision of District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Anuradha Gupta.
The Deputy DEO said that the ECI has initiated different measures to fine-tune the electoral rolls for which ERO-NET is being used to generate an error-free voter list, besides lessening the paper work as correct forms filled at the entry level will be accepted through the system.
The participants were explained about different steps involved in the ERO NET including online processing of forms.
During the training session, enrollment process and other relevant queries and doubts raised by the BLOs were also answered by the Dy.DEO.
Among others present on the occasion included Additional Deputy Commissioner Suram Chand Sharma, District Informatics Officer SanjeevKapoor besides EROs, AEROs and other concerned Election staff were also present.
