Spl Summary Revision: DEO Doda flags off SVEEP Express to generate mass awareness

Doda : District Election Officer Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan on Friday flagged off a “SVEEP Express” from DC office here this morning to spread mass awareness about Special Summary Revision-2022 aimed at to enroll the left out voters to make electoral rolls healthy and error free and to enroll those who have attained the age of 18 years on or before 1st October 2022.

Among others present were SSP, DY DEO, Nodal Officer SVEEP, ENT, besides other concerned office staff of the election department.

The DEO, while speaking on the occasion, directed the Nodal officer SVEEP to ensure that all the activities scheduled under SSR-2022 be adhered in letter and spirit. He urged the left out voters and those who have attained the age of 18 years as on October 1st 2022 to contact their BLOs or apply on www.nvsp.eci .in to register as voters.

The Nodal officer SVEEP informed that “SVEEP Express” has been flagged off to generate mass awareness among the locals of the district with regard to the Special summary revision 2022 being conducted from September 15 to October 25, 2022 with special thrust on enrollment of all left out voters as well as those who have turned 18 as on October 1st.

The SVEEP Express will go to every panchayat, PatwarHalqa, Village and education institutions across the district and will disseminate information about SSR-2022 among the public. “Besides,  it will share the names and contact numbers of BLOs, the schedule of Special campaign dates and other IEC election material including electoral forms like 6, 6B, 7 and present demo for filling these forms ” he added.

The rural development department has been directed by the DEO Doda to coordinate with the PRIs to achieve the aim and objective of the SSR-2022.
