Book Reading, Debate Competition held  in GDC Hiranagar

Kathua :    Five Day Programme was organized to celebrate Teachers’ Day at Government GirdhariLalDogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar which witnessed a series of activities.

On the Ist day, faculty members were felicitated by the Principal of the college with the certificates of appreciation. The 2nd Day witnessed a variety Cultural programme and different games like musical chair, picking of slips, lemon race, skit on the role of teacher etc.   for teachers. On Day 3 a Debate Competition was organized in which Tania bagged 1st position, Ganakshi stood 2nd and Reema clinched 3rd position.

Jury Members were Prof. Sujat Khan, Prof. Gurdayal, ProfArun Kumar.

The Book Reading Competition was organised on day 4 in which SushilRana bagged First position, Mansi bagged 2nd and PayalJasrotia bagged 3rd position, while  Meenakshi got consolation prize. Jury members were Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Neeru Devi Anand, and Dr. PreetiVerma.

On the last day of celebration, students presented a scintillating dance and Singing programme. Certificates were distributed among the winners and participants. The Programme was organised under able guidance of DrPragyaKhanna, Chief Patron and Principal of the College.

The programme was coordinated by Prof. Sujat Khan, (Coordinator IQAC); Dr. DavinderKour, convener Cultural Committee and Prof. Rakesh Sharma, Programme Officer, NSS Dr. Sukhdeep Singh, ANO NCC.

Others present on the occasion were Prof. Parveen, Prof. Ajay, Prof. Manjot, Prof. Bhavana, Dr. Anju, Dr. Jyoti, Prof. Kiran, Dr. Chinky,  Prof. Ritika, Dr. Arun, Prof. Arvind,  Prof. Anil, Prof. Nidhi, Dr. Arun, Prof. Neha, Prof. Kamlesh, Prof. Bharat, Prof. Mukesh, MrsRitu, Mr. Vikram.
