Rajouri : A 150-hour training program on AutoCAD has been successfully concluded at University Polytechnic BGSBU Rajouri. It took one month to complete the said training of 150 hours.
According to a statement issued from the Public Relations Office of the University the training was one of the initiatives of the MoU signed between the University Polytechnic and ICT academy Chennai. About 54 students in the final and pre-final years were trained in this program. All of the students were able to create 2D and 3D plans, which was quite fascinating for all the stakeholders of Polytechnic. On the culminating day, September 03, 2022, many drawings made by the students were displayed and appreciation from all the corners of the University was given to the students. There will be a placement drive as promised by the ICT Academy for these trained students, which may be held very soon. The University Polytechnic is committed to offering quality skill education to registered students.
The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Akbar Masood conveyed his appreciation and assured the complete cooperation in organizing such events for the betterment of the students so that the students get well placed after completion of their studies at BGSBU. The Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. Iqbal Parwez also conveyed his appreciation to the students. On the Valedictory function Mr Tafazul Nabi, the trainer from ICT Academy, shared his experience while staying at BGSBU during this training program. Er. Malik Mubasher Hassan, Principal of University Polytechnic, said on the occasion that all the stockholders of University Polytechnic are doing their best in bringing the institute to heights. He also recognised the sincere efforts of teachers in making University Polytechnic, one of the best Polytechnics in Jammu and Kashmir. The valedictory function was anchored by Er. Shivinder Mehta, who was the coordinator of the Program. All the faculty members were present on the occasion.
