Ramban : The District Election Department, Ramban, on the direction of District Election Officer, Mussarat Islam, on Tuesday organized a programme to screen a short film about Special Summary Revision 2022 under Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) for the students and staff of various educational intuitions and colleges in the district.
Deputy District Election Officer, RambanLal Chand informed that the Election Department Ramban made adequate arrangements in the educational institutions including High and Higher Secondary Schools, Government Degree Colleges, Industrial Training Institutes and Government Polytechnic colleges of the district for screening of short film on Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2022. He further informed that the department has also installed hoardings and displayed banners at prominent places in the district to educate the people about election related procedures.
Sensitizing the general public at different places about election related activities for Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2022 under SVEEP, the Dy. DEO appealed to the people in general and prospective voters in particular to register themselves during the SSR which is being started from September 15, 2022.
During the Special Summary Revision, special camps shall also be organized on September 24 & 25 and October 1, 2, 15 & 16 for ensuring cent per cent enrollment of new eligible voters, he added.
