J&K Apni Party district presidents to submit memorandums on J&K statehood restoration demand to DMs across J&K

Srinagar| Sept, 7 : J&K Apni Party has said that it’s district presidents will submit memorandums to district magistrates across Jammu & Kashmir over the demand for restoration of statehood to Jammu & Kashmir as a follow up of the recent memorandum submitted to J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha by a delegation of the party headed by President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.

A statement issued by J&K Apni Party on Wednesday reads “Apni Party District Presidents across Jammu and Kashmir will submit memorandums to the government through respective District Magistrates (DMs)”,adding that “this will be a follow-up activity to our recent initiative in which Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari led a top party delegation to Raj Bhavan in Srinagar and handed over a memorandum — with certain demands including restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir — to Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha on September 4, 2022″.

The party statement reads further “In all 10 districts of the Valley, our Party District Presidents accompanied by the top district level leaders will visit their respective District Magistrates to submit the memorandum on September 10, 2022 (Saturday)”,adding that “In Jammu region, all the District Presidents of the party will present the same memorandum to their respective District Magistrates on September 12, 2022 (Monday)”.
