The Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Anantnag, MY Gorsion Tuesday toured various areas of Block Pahalgam.
During the visit, the DDC inspected various works under execution in the area. He inaugurated Lidroo Gateway and laid the foundation stone of Road from Gratenard to Lidroo in presence.
The DDC Chairman later distributed sports kits among young boys and girls from Pahalgam and surrounding areas. Interacting with the children he said that they must stay away from the menace of drugs and concentrate on productive endeavours. He said they must up-skill themselves to earn a dignified living and earn laurels for their family and village and stay away from bad habits.
