Srinagar :As a part of Public outreach programme, Police in Sopore facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Bomai here on Monday.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters here, the meeting was chaired by SSP Sopore ShriShabir Nawab along with SDPO Zaingeer and SHO PS Bomai in which representatives and respectable of general area of Police Station Bomai participated.
During the meeting, several issues of public importance were discussed. The chairing officers assured for time bound redressal of grievances pertaining to Police. He also sought cooperation of people in eradicating the social evils prevailing in the society particularly menace of drugs and requested people to provide factual information in identifying anti-national elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment in the area.
In the concluding para of the above referred statement, police said the participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
