Police holds darbar with retired Police officers in B’gam

Srinagar :  Police in Budgam on Saturday held a meeting with retired police personnel at Police Station Chadoora. The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Chadoora in which more than 30 retired officers/officials participated.

According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters the  the participants of the meering  were welcomed by SHO PS Chadoora and thanked them for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting. He assured the participants that Police is always at their disposal and they are still part of Police organization. He also assured them that they can approach any police officer or police unit at any time.

During the meeting, the retired officers raised various issues. The chairing officer assured them that their genuine issues/problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their early redressal. Moreover, the chairing officer also reiterated that retirees are always welcome for their valuable suggestions and there is great respect for them in the Police organization as they have rendered a long service and toiled hard to earn a name for the organization. He also added that various measures are being taken by the Police department for the welfare of retired police personnel and their wards. Further, a booklet “The Voice of The PROANG” prepared by J&K Police Retired Officers Association was also presented and issued during the meeting.
