Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, DrDevanshYadav, on Saturday inspected several public facilities and took first hand appraisal of their functioning.
He inspected the facilities at Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) including Guest Rooms, Kitchen, Conference Hall, Gym, Reception Centre etc besides taking stock of the maintenance of assets and facilities put in place for the tourists/visitors.
He directed for proper upkeep and maintenance of assets and enhancing the tourist facilities.
Meanwhile, he also inspected the Water Reservoir & Filtration Plant and examined the site plan and lay out of Naigadh water Supply Scheme.
He directed EXEn PHE to start pending pipeline work and cleaning of tanks within one month to provide clean water to the households.
Various issues & bottlenecks raised by the Department and Locals were also discussed, while the DC assured timely resolution of the same in consultation with the concerned quarters.
The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar, Pramood Kumar; EXEn PHE, Ajay Talwar; ExEn KDA, Accounts Officer DC Office besides concerned field functionaries.
