EJCC fully supports Govt on initiatives taken for corruption free Admin: Aijaz Khan

Srinagar| Sept, 3:Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee and President CAPD Employees Association Kashmir AIjaz Ahmad Khan on Saturday announced full support to the ‘government measures for establishing corruption-free administration’ and appreciated the campaign of Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) against corruption.
In a statement issued here on Saturday Khan  called the government employees who are addicted to corruption and bribery  black sheep and appealed to all the employee community to meet the household needs by earning their livelihood through rightful means for bringing transparency and probity in public life .
EJCC Spokesperson in a statement said that an important meeting of the Employees Joint Consultative Committee(EJAC) was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Ejaz Ahmad Khan, in which the senior leaders of the forum including Sheikh Ejaz Makhdoomi, Javed Ahmad Akhoon, Haji Abdul Qayyum Baig, Shoaib Munshi, Farooq Ahmad Kawa, Rahmatullah Khan, Shaukat Noushhari, Anayat Noushhari, Sher Ali, Feroze Ahmad Najjar, Manzoor Ishbari and District President of Srinagar Mohammad Yaqoob Dar were present.
In the meeting the EJCC leaders strongly supported the measures taken by the Government  to ensure ‘corruption-free, and accountable administration’. Regretting the arrest of some employees on corruption charges , Khan said  government officials, engineers and common employees caught red handed by ACB while taking bribes have brought shame to the employee community. 
The EJCC Chairman announced the support of all the constituent employee associations of EJCC to the Government  on all measures taken for improving efficiency, transparency and accountability in the administration and  steps taken to curb corruption practices. Khan said that joint forum of employee associations (EJCC) pledges to give full support to the government in this campaign. He said that a dutiful and people-friendly employee or officer can never be a party to bribery, corruption and any kind of irregularitiy.
The Chairman EJCC termed the corrupt officers and employees the black-sheep and politely appealed to the employee’s community not to be seduced by haram earnings and risk their honour and dignity in the society. He said “If we try to be honest in dealing with the matters related to public service, we will be honoured and respected in the whole society”.
While appreciating the campaign of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) against corruption,  Khan said that when an employee or officer commits a crime or commits any corruption, it brings shame to the employee community, and said “we cannot ignore the efforts of the officers and staff of the Anti-Corruption Bureau in any case, because their successful actions are part of the decisions taken to get rid of corrupt people, and also make it easy for common people to get their issues resolved.
EJCC Chairman further said “this joint forum of employee associations will continue its struggle for the legitimate issues and demands of employees. We will convey our voice to the houses of the government, but at the same time we will support the efforts and initiatives of the government, which are taken improve the functioning of government departments, promote work culture and ensure the provision of corruption-free administration”.
