Covid- 19 In JK: No new death reported, toll stays at 4779

Srinagar, Jammu : The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Thursday said that 147 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19)including 26 from Jammu division and 121 from Kashmir division reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 477931, Stating therein further that with no new covid death reported from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall Covid death toll stayed at 4779.
Government in it’s Thursday’s Covid Bulletin also said that moreover, 187 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 15 from Jammu division and 172 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 477931positive cases, 1051are Active Positive (249in Jammu Division and 802 in Kashmir Division), 472098have recovered and 4782have died; 2350 in Jammu division and 2432 in Kashmir division.
The Government in it’s Thurday’s daily Covid Bulletin also said that 11,897 doses of COVID Vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours across Jammu and Kashmir bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 2,43,26,972 till date.
The Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin further said that out of 26466890 test results available, 477931samples have tested positive and 25988959 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 9,312 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6698775 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 166 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1051 in isolation and 391in home surveillance. Besides, 6692385 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Thursday, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 44 cases, Baramulla reported 20 cases, Budgam 30 cases, Pulwama reported 01case, Kupwara reported 07 cases, Anantnag reported06 cases, Bandipora reported 02 cases, Ganderbal reported 06cases, Kulgam reported 03 cases while as Shopian also reported 02 fresh cases for Thursday.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 21 cases, Udhampur 00, Rajouri 02, Doda 00, Kathua 01, Samba 00, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 02, Ramban 00and Reasi also reported no fresh case for Thursday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
