Srinagar : Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Kashmir on Thursday organized “NashaMukt Bharat” programme at Exhibition Ground Srinagar.
According to the statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters, the Students, Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, Sughra Foundation, Tigers Calisthenics Academy, Mehfooz Kashmir, Bikers From Kashmir Club, Mizrab Music Academy and other volunteers participated in the event.
All officers/officials of Anti Narcotics Task Force Kashmir along with all the participants under the Supervision and Command of SSP ANTF J&K took a pledge for “Drug Free India”.
In a concluding para of the above referred statement issued police said that a rally was also organized from Exhibition Ground Srinagar to LalChowk Srinagar and make awareness about the ill-effects of drug abuse among the youth in particular and citizens at large. Dy SP Anti Narcotics Task Force gave an elaborated view about the menace of drugs, its sources, causes, consequences and role of every member of society. Participants were also requested to fight against the menace of drugs. Moreover, posters depicting the hazardous, ill effects of drug abuse were also distributed among the students and citizens.
