Mega Block Diwas held in 3 blocks at Kulgam

DC presides over grievances redressal camp at Kulgam, listens to people; redresses scores of issues on spot

Kulgam :  The District Administration Kulgamon Wednesday organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

The grievance redressalprogramme witnessed overwhelming response of PRI representatives, local people who visited the programme places in large numbers to flag-off their issues, grievances and demands with the visiting Officers for redressal.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din Bhat presided over grievance redressal camp at Kulgam.

People from BrazlooJaggeer, Missipora, Matibug, Nadimarg, Tengsargam, ChaderNaidpora, Munad, Bolso, Kund, Chugalpora, Watoo, Ereh, WatooAadbal and other areas participated in the grievance redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues and grievances.

Raising demands with the chair, the visiting people demanded demanded road Macadamisation at ChaderNaidpora, augmentation of staff at Wellness Centre KatporaMunadh, playfield at MunadhGuffan and extension of playfield at Chugalpora besides repairs of irrigation canal at WatooAadbal.

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.

Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kulgam, Mohmmad Imran Khan also briefed about the action taken on various grievances and issues raised in previous Block Diwas.

Meanwhile grievances redressal camps were also held at Block Devsar and D. H. Pora where officers remained available to listen and redress the issues and grievances of people.
