JKTPO organized “StartUp Mock Pitching” workshop in Sgr

Srinagar :  Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) on Wednesday organized a full day StartUp Mock Pitching workshop for StartUps based in Kashmir at Conference Hall, SannatGhar, Bemina here in the presence of domain experts from Invest India, DPIIT.

BB & GG (LLP), Daskdán Innovations, Occasions, Baraqah, Wani Agro Tools Plant, SESTI, Agro Tech Plant, Sky Robo Drones, Fastbeetle and other StartUps participated in this physical session and got valuable learnings for idea pitching & presentation skills.

One of the participating StartUp “Fastbeetle” is an emerging StartUp in logistics domain and has been covered in national media as well. BB & GG (LLP) is working on waste management in AgriTech space. Daskdán Innovations is using AI for herbal renaissance. Baraqah’s aim is to revolutionizes modest wear and make modest wear at par with western wear. Wani Agro Tools Plant has developed innovative product to help farmers. SESTI is working with the marginal farmers by leveraging technology in both production and marketing of the produce to create better crop output, enhanced income for the farmers and jobs for the landless people.

MD-JKTPO, Khalid Jahangir in his message stressed on the importance of Incubators and their role for development of idea into StartUp venture foster entrepreneurship culture and ecosystem in J&K. He assured that JKTPO will continue to support SrartUps at each level with help of different stakeholders of Government agencies.

Krishna GudipudiandPayalJawalkar, domain experts from Invest India evaluated and reviewed each StartUp Pitch Presentation on parameters like Idea Innovation, Business Model, Scalability, Pitch deck content, Presentation skills & others. Expert panel interacted with every StartUp founder and suggested the minputs for making further improvement in pitch deck & idea presentation.

The objective of this workshop was to educate, train & prepare StartUp founders for pitching their venture ideas & delivering a powerful StartUp presentation in front of investors in order to convey their idea perfectly and creating good impression to receive funding opportunity.

This workshop helped participants expand their idea presentation skills and equipped them with strategies to build powerful StartUp pitch deck and delivering impressive presentations.

Earlier a similar kind of StartUp Mock Pitching was organized in Jammu on August 29th by JKTPO to facilitate StartUps rehearse before the Demo day idea pitching in front of Investors.

This exercise was part of pre-event session for the upcoming StartUp event “INNOVATION FEST 2022” which is going to be organized in September 2022 by JKTPO and Higher Education Department, Govt. of J&K.
