Reasi : As per the Action Plan/Calendar for the month of August, 2022, issued by the J&K Legal Services Authority and also under the able guidance and supervision of Mr. R.N.Watal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Reasi, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Reasion Tuesday organized an awareness program on “Plea Bargaining, Rights of Prisoners and Bail Provisions” for the inmates of Sub Jail, Reasi.
Panel Advocate P.D. Singh and Advocates RashiBaru and Tanya SarafPandoh were the resource persons for the program.
The team interacted with the Jail inmates and made them aware about the Legal Provisions under the Code of Criminal Procedure and also the latest rulings of the Apex Court which deals with the welfare of the under trial Prisoners.
The program was also attended by Incharge Superintendent of Jail and the staff of the Sub-jail Reasi.
