Anantnag: A bhung destruction drive was on Monday held at NatiporaSangam area of Bijbehara by Excise Range South Kashmir along with the Revenue department.
The joint team destroyed wild grown bhung on more than 20 kanals along river bund.
ETO South Kashmir Range said that from the past few days a destruction drive is underway in the area.
He said that Excise Range South Kashmir is committed to ensure the destruction of bhung in all those vulnerable areas where there is apprehension of illegal cultivation.
