Medical Camp held at DisttJail B’la

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Baramulla : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Baramulla in collaboration with Government Medical College Baramullaon Wednesday organized a special Medical Camp at District Jail Baramulla.

The Medical camp was held under the Supervision of Mohammad YousufWani, Chairman DLSA Baramulla and FariqaNazir Secretary/Sub-Judge  DLSABaramulla in presence of Barkat Ahmad, Superintendent of District Jail Baramulla.

The Medical Camp comprised of a Board of 04 doctors viz Dr. Yasir Bashir (Assistant Professor General Medicine), Dr. HumamNissar (Assistant Professor General Surgery), Dr. Mubashir Rashid (Senior Resident Orthopedics) and Dr. Fayaz Ahmad (Dental Surgeon).

A total of 38 inmates including 34 male inmates and 04 female inmates were thoroughly examined by the medical board and necessary medicines/ tests were prescribed for inmates accordingly.

The inmates were satisfied with the prescribed services provided to them including medical checkup and medicines.
