Disengaged Engineer arrested for misrepresenting himself as SLTC expert, misusing official seal : CBK

Srinagar : The Crime Branch Kashmir on Wednesday said that it has arrested one Hakim Muzamil S/O Late Hakim Habibullah for misrepresenting himself as State Level Technical Expert (SLTC) despite being disengaged as SLTC expert of J&K Housing Board. The accused is also facing charges of misusing the official seal.

In  a statement issued on Wednesday Crime Branch Kashmir said “The  Economic Offence Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has arrested one accused namely Hakim Muzamil S/O Late Hakim Habibullah R/O Baghwanpora Lal Bazar Srinagar in Case FIR No. 67/2022 U/S 420, 467, 468,471,120-B IPC of Police Station Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir. The statement issued by Crime Branch Kashmir further reads “The instant case has been registered upon receipt of written complaint preferred by Managing Director J&K Housing Board, wherein it was alleged that the accused Er. Hakim Muzamil S/O Late Hakim Habibullah R/O Baghwanpora Lal Bazar Srinagar has been disengaged from J&K Housing Board as State level Technical expert (SLTC), despite being disengaged he is misrepresenting himself as SLTC Expert of J&K Housing Board and misusing Official Seal”.
In the concluding para of the above referred statement Crime Branch Kashmir said “The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir conducted an inquiry into the matter & during probe the allegations leveled had got prima facie established and accordingly Case FIR No. 67/2022 U/S 420, 467, 468,471,120-B IPC of Police Station Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has been registered”.
