DC presides over grievances redressal camp at Kulgam

  DM also listens to people for redressal of their issues, grievances

Kulgam : The District Administration Kulgam on Tuesday organized Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D.H Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

The grievance redressal programme witnessed overwhelming response of PRI representatives and people, who visited the programme places in large numbers to flag-off their issues, grievances and demands with the visiting Officers for redressal.

Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat presided over grievance redressal camp at Kulgam.

People from Ashthal, Kanipora, Boh, Khee Jogipora, Chambagund, Aakhran, Bolsoo, Pranhal and other areas participated in this grievance redressal camp and apprised the DC of their issues and grievances for timely redressal.

People demanded Flood protection bund at Nalla Veshow, construction of additional accommodation for School, making   Filtration plant functional at Chambagund, land for health centre and Nayabat in Bolsoo and extension of Daderkoot Khee Jogipora road besides other issues and grievances for redressal.

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments.

A delegation of youth from Khee Jogipora demanded development of playfield and direction was passed to the concerned for early demarcation of land for development of playfield.

The DC, after giving patient hearing to the public addressed scores of grievances of immediate nature on the spot.

ADC, ACD, ACR, Tehsildar, BDO and other officers were also present in the grievance redressal camp.

Earlier, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kulgam, Mohmmad Imran Khan also briefed about the action taken on various grievances and issues raised in previous Block Diwas.

Meanwhile grievances redressal camps were also held at Block Devsar and Manzgam where officers remained available to listen and redress the issues and grievances of people.
