Covid- 19 In JK: No new death reported, toll stays at 4778

Srinagar : The Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily Covid Bulletin on Wednesday said that 259 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 21from Jammu division and 238 from Kashmir Valley reported in last 24 hours raised the total number of positive cases to 476703, Stating therein further that as no new Covid death was reported in last 24 hours from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir the J&K’s overall Covid death toll stayed at 4778.
Government in it’s Wednesday daily Covid Bulletin also said that 303 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 25 from Jammu division and 278 from Kashmir division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 476703 positive cases, 2169 are Active Positive (384 in Jammu Division and 1785 in Kashmir Division), 469755 have recovered and 4779 have died; 2347 in Jammu division and 2432 in Kashmir division.
The Government in it’s above referred daily Covid Bulletin also said that 26,383 doses of COVID Vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours across Jammu and Kashmir bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 24166593 till date.
The Bulletin further said that out of 26394188 test results available, 476703 samples have tested positive and 25917485 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 11,049 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6699207 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 160 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2169 in isolation and 367 in home surveillance. Besides, 6691732 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for Wednesday, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 74 cases, Baramulla reported 62 cases, Budgam 49 cases, Pulwama reported 21cases, Kupwara reported 06 cases, Anantnag reported13 cases, Bandipora reported 09 cases, Ganderbal reported no case, Kulgam reported 03 cases while as Shopian reported 01 fresh case for Wednesday.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 09 cases, Udhampur 02, Rajouri 01, Doda 00, Kathua 00, Samba 01, Kishtwar 01, Poonch 00, Ramban 07and Reasi reported no fresh case for Wednesday.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
