Srinagar : S.J.M Gillani Addl. Director General of Police Armed J&K on Wednesday decorated Riyaz Ahmad and Khurshid Ahmad of Armed Police Headquarters with ranks on their promotion as HC.
According to the statement issued by the J&K Armed Police Headquarters here, an impressive piping ceremony was held on Wednesday at Armed Police Headquarters J&K Srinagar to decorate these officials. On this occasion, the ADGP congratulated the newly promoted HCs and wished them successful professional career. Syed Sajad Hussain-DySP(S) Pvt. Secy. to ADGP Armed J&K & Ab. Rashid PA to ADGP Armed J&K was also present on the occasion.
Armed Police Headquarters in the concluding para of the above referred statement also said that it was during the month of July, 2022, the Armed Police Headquarters J&K completed the promotion process of 635 Police personnel of J&K Armed Police, which include, promotion of 10 ASIs as SI, 185 HCs as ASI and 440 SgCts as HC. Congratulating the newly promoted HCs the ADGP said the promotion process of more than 600 Constables to the rank of SgCts is under consideration and by the mid of this month that will also be finalized.
