Vishesh Paul assumes charge as DC Doda

  Progress reviewed on digitization of Jamabandies, e-Office mode working at preliminary meeting

Doda : Vishesh Paul Mahajan, on Monday took over as Deputy Commissioner, Doda, relieving Vikas Sharma.

Soon after assuming the charge, Vishesh Paul Mahajan interacted with officers of Revenue department and received feedback on the ongoing exercise of digitisation of Jamabandies.

The Deputy Commissioner, while reviewing the progress of digitisation of Jamabandies, stressed upon the Tehsildars to gear up the field functionaries to accomplish the task within the set deadline of 08 September for the completion of the task.

Further, the DC directed the concerned heads to utilize the services of the revenue officials working in other departments in the exercise of digitisation of Jamabandies, if they have less workload. He also directed the district/sectoral officers to switch on to paperless mode of working.

The DC sought cooperation from all officers to make administration more proactive, vibrant and receptive for the general welfare of the common masses. He further asked for quality and time bound disposal of public grievances on priority.

He also instructed Officers/officials to work with renewed synergy and motivation, besides be accessible to the public at all times, and also directed to not leave the station without the prior consent of the chair.

The DC, while inspecting the sections of the DC office complex, sought details of the job chart from the concerned dealing officials and directed them to be punctual and maintain cleanliness in the office.

The DC also directed to put up the contact numbers of Emergency control room including contact number of SDMs and other essential departments at the entrance of DC office for the convenience of the general public to contact them in no time during exigency if any.

Among others present were SSP Doda, ADDC Doda, ADC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah,ASP HQR,ACR Doda, SDMs, Tehsildars, AO DC Office, besides the officials dealing with the different sections.
