Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army averted a major tragedy when they detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing 10- 12Kgm in Beihgund area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
Police said on a specific input of Police an IED approximately weighing 10-12 kgm has been recovered in Beihgund area.
“The timely detections of the IED has averted a major terror incident”, police said.
Police and Army are on the job to destroy it, they added.
