Srinagar : An unidentified male body was recovered in Aloochibagh, Srinagar, police said on Saturday.
A police official said that they received an reliable information to the effect that an elderly male dead body, reportedly a begger and was seen roaming in Allochi Bagh area since one month is lying near Allochi Bagh bund adjacent to UEED department. “Police party rushed to the spot and took the body procession,” he said.
“Necessary legal formalities have been initiated U/S 174 CrPC by Police Station Shergarhi. Post mortem of the dead body has been conducted. The dead body has been kept in mortuary of SMHS Srinagar for identification,” he said.
“It is requested to general Public to help us in identifying the dead persons. If anyone has any clue or information regarding the identity of the dead person.
