Poonch: Two days after a man from Poonch was arrested in Jammu with cash, which is suspected to be linked with militant financing network, special teams of Jammu police and State Investigation Agency (SIA) raided several places in the district for further investigation of the case.
Official sources said that joint teams of SIA and Jammu police Saturday morning reached Poonch and raided many locations. They said that the teams have raided these locations where some records are being scrutinised, besides questioning of some people.
“There is a strong suspicion that the man arrested in Jammu with an amount of ten lakhs is closely associated with some people in the Poonch district,” they added.
Meanwhile, a senior police official confirmed that raids were underway at several locations in the district
